This pagoda would be the perfect centerpiece for your summer soirée given the dramatic scale and sculptural presence. There are so many intricate details throughout the piece with the multi-tiered temple roof adorned with stylized mythical beasts, pierced lattice windows and an open pavilion balcony accessed by a miniature stair. The structure comes in one piece.
This pagoda could be used both indoors and out.
ORIGIN: Most likely Hong Kong export for Western market
CIRCA: 1950s-70s

There is natural crazing to the glaze throughout, surface crack in the glaze (see last photo), some chips to the triangular edges of the roof tiles, minor edge wear, small glaze losses all to be expected from age and use.
