The body is a tapered column opening into a flared rim, with vertical facets worked into the wall that break the light as it passes through. Suspended in the glass is a dense field of small air bubbles — bullicante, raised deliberately between layers of glass and sealed under a further casing, not left there by accident. Pizzicato, the musical term for plucked strings, is the factory's name for the range.

The green shifts with the light, reading soft olive through the mass and deeper where the glass thickens toward the foot.

Mstišov was founded in 1868 and absorbed into the Borské Sklo national corporation in 1958; after the works closed, its designs passed to Karlovarské Sklo / Moser. The Pizzicato range is documented in the Czech Glass Review of 1961.

Unsigned, as Czech factory glass of the period generally was. 25 cm high. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
