Fo; 102 pp. Black cloth, frayed spine crown, lightly rubbed and soiled board covers and extremities, gilt stamped title, prize bookplate and bookseller label pasted on front endpaper, reads:

Edward D. Mills (1915–1998) was a prominent British architect, member of the MARS (Modern Architectural Research) Group, and a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (FRIBA). The book represents a mid-century beginning to permanently recording post-war British modernism covering the reconstruction period (1946-1953), up to this point only presented in architectural journals. The content features projects utilizing new materials and technologies. It focuses on functional, modern design, showcasing industrial and civic projects.
