Jodi Reeb (formerly Jodi Reeb-Myers) is a prominent contemporary visual artist and educator based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a career spanning nearly 30 years.
Reeb's work is characterized by a "nature-inspired and surface patina" style. She is a leading practitioner of encaustic painting (molten beeswax), often integrating diverse media such as collage, printmaking, acrylic, and metallic paints that patina over time.
Her subjects, seeds, leaves, and landscapes act as metaphors for healing and seasonal transitions. She prioritizes green materials, using FSC-certified wood and sustainable canvas stretchers.
Her artwork has been exhibited widely, receiving numerous awards, and is in many private and major corporate collections nationally, including Google Headquarters, Wells Fargo, and Target Corporation.
She is a partner, curator, and artist at the Kolman & Reeb Gallery in Minneapolis.
Reeb has received multiple grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board (2018, 2021, and 2026) and various national artist residencies.
