An exceptional set of three original mid-century fashion production sketches. These are authentic "behind-the-scenes" studio documents, hand-rendered in pencil and watercolor. Each piece showcases the iconic 1950s silhouette with cinched waists, full skirts, and sophisticated tailoring.
Provenance & Details:
THese came from a Los Angeles collection. The reverse of each sketch features original handwritten technical notes from the designer, detailing construction elements such as "pointed yokes," "pleats over the bust line," and specific fabric/color choices like "blue and brown top coat." These notations provide a rare glimpse into the mid-century garment manufacturing process.
The set has been professionally mounted in custom 11" x 14" archival mats (black with a silver-tone inner bevel), ready for standard framing.
