Here we have a set of six vintage French blue custard ramekins. These were made in France by Emile Henry, a family owned company who has been making ceramic cookware in the Burgundy province since 1850.
These darling custards sport a pure white interior, a cobalt exterior and a lovely scalloped rim. Superb hand-made French quality baking stoneware with thick luscious glaze. Gorgeous oven to table dishes, great little bowls which can be used for desserts, condiments and appetizers etc.
All Emile Henry products are direct freezer-to-oven. They exhibit extraordinary thermal shock properties. Safe under the broiler as well as in the microwave. Exterior dimensions are 4 inches Wide by 4 inches Deep x 2 inches High. The interior measures 3" x 3" x 1.625" deep and each holds 150 mls or about 5 liquid ounces.
