Superb California maker furniture makers. Standing on a tripod base, carved scrolled legs in English regency style, they arch above the center stretcher with finial in the center. From there they curve up towards a wide plateau, which is a base for next three eagle head supports that come together to hold a round display surface. Impressive, intricate detailing. California made between 1920's and 1940's. This pedestal is in good condition, light age / use wear, minimal carving chips (please see photos). Impressive size, planter stands 52.5" tall, with a base diameter of 19.5" (triangle 21" x 21" x 21"), and the top display surface is 10.5" diameter wide (12.5" total). This table will impress in any mid-century modern or traditional setting! See less
