A striking mid-century studio pottery bowl raised on a gently tapering pedestal foot. The exterior is worked with a dense, rhythmic texture that catches the glaze unevenly, producing a layered surface of smoky black and warm bronze tones. Inside, the bowl opens to a deep cobalt blue glaze, luminous and glassy, creating a dramatic contrast with the darker exterior. The form is simple yet architectural: a wide, shallow dish balanced on a sculptural base. Both functional and sculptural, the piece reads equally well as a serving bowl or as a small centerpiece object. Comes in a good vintage condition.
