This piece … Read more A stunning 9-arm mid-century modern chandelier manufactured in the 1970s by the renowned czechoslovakian lighting studio kamenický šenov. This piece is a quintessential example of "brussels style" and space-age design, blending sculptural brass elements with soft, opal glass diffusers. Design and condition the chandelier features a central brass spherical hub from which nine arms extend, each terminating in a sleek brass cup and a white opal glass shade. The shades are designed in a distinctive "lentil" or flattened globe shape, providing a beautifully diffused, glare-free illumination. The piece is in very good original condition. The brass shows a light, authentic patina consistent with its age, and all nine glass shades are free of cracks or significant chips.
