And the smaller size they are in gives them much more optionality in decor. These are not the large 6 feet ones that are limited in use. These simply measure 26 inches high; and are versatile to be used on most walls. They are great to be placed on either side of a mirror, art work, door way, mantle, and such...

Though not a huge issue, please do note that only one side of each is painted the turquoise to match the front. The other side is not painted.

As far as date, they are late 19th Century to early 20th Century. They are hand-crafted or mill-worked with carved details. Each of the tall and narrow rectangular vertical shaft is topped with a capital and based with a simple plinth/base.

The top capitals feature a classic Ionic order design, with prominent volutes (scrolls / curled spirals). The scrolls are carved in a symmetrical, elegant S-shape typical of Ionic capitals, with subtle foliate leaf-like detailing beneath them for added ornamentation.
