Good original vintage condition, with beautiful patina.
Six matching sconces available.
Mid-West was a top of the line manufacturer, who in their beginning only cast solid bronze lights that were exceedingly difficult to produce due to their reticulated surfaces. Casting reticulations is very difficult, as casting material doesn’t feed a reticulated casting fully unless the gating is extremely accurate and the skill very precise. These rare surviving sconces highlight the timeless design and exceptional quality of the American Art Deco movement.
