A study in substance and restraint, this 1970s Italian dining table brings sculptural stillness to the room. Hewn from filled travertine, its oblong top floats on twin demi-lune pedestals joined by a notched stretcher—each element precision-cut yet grounded in the stone’s natural irregularity. The surface reveals a quiet constellation of fossil-filled voids and mineral trace.
At 6 feet wide, it seats six with ease—its presence architectural, its palette sun-washed and serene.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The filled travertine base is clean and structurally sound, with minimal wear. The top shows light surface wear consistent with age, including faint scuffing around the edges and one small, prior repair. The top is not affixed to the base; four-piece construction includes two bases, central stretcher, and top.
