A 1960s Italian lantern pendant, its sculptural drum form woven from warm, honeyed bamboo in the manner of Franco Albini. Vertical slats are bound with cross-lashed detail, framing looping rattan scrollwork that traces the circumference in rhythmic repetition.
Suspended from a hand-linked bamboo chain with a polished brass canopy, the piece glows with a soft, dappled light. An airy, organic presence, equally suited for an entryway, breakfast nook, or reading corner.
Sold and priced individually.
Condition: Great vintage condition with a rich patina to the bamboo. Minor surface wear consistent with age. This fixture has been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with a new canopy and socket. Accepts one E12 light bulb.
