The pedestal’s columnar body rests on a stepped plinth base and supports a square top with subtly flared corners. Creamy ivory travertine is set against fossil-rich sections in golden ochre, the contrast highlighting textural striations and shell inclusions. Both sculpture and support—ideal for elevating objets, lamps, or vessels.

Condition: Great vintage condition. The travertine shows natural variations in tone and fossil inclusions throughout, with intentional raw edges left by design. Solid and structurally sound, with one minor chip along the bottom corner of one pedestal, as shown in photos. See less
