These retain the brass plaques under each chair Smith and Watson Cabinet makes New York. These are not new chairs with wood veneer. There are 2 captain's chairs and 6 side chairs. We have a table that matches from a different manufacturer in the shop. The surface has some small areas of touch up needed and you can use or change the upholstery. A very handsome set of chairs.
