A 1950s Italian desk or console with architectural lines and a grounded presence. The iron base flares outward in a winged silhouette—sharp angles offset by a warm, inset wood panel. A rectangular pane of cast glass—1.25" thick and richly textured—rests above, its rippled surface catching light in shifting patterns.
Style it as a sculptural writing desk with a low-slung chair and table lamp, or as an entry console layered with books, ceramics, and florals.
Condition: Great vintage condition, with no notable wear to the glass top. The iron base is structurally sound with a natural patina throughout. The inset wood panel shows light surface wear, including minor scratches and scuffs, consistent with age and use.
Additional Dimensions: Glass Top: 1.25" thick
