The sculptural twin bases are rendered in richly patinated bronze—textural and primal, as if excavated from ancient terrain. Each form is defined by jagged voids and molten edges, a study in tension between brutalist ethos and organic erosion. Above, a ½” thick rectangular glass top appears to float.

Valenti is a historic design house based in Barcelona, founded in 1798 as a silversmith workshop. Today, it stands as a leading company in the luxury home décor sector, with a deep tradition and artisanal roots.

In the 1970s and 1980s, Valenti's design language embraced a brutalist and organic style, creating statement pieces that balanced mass, texture, and luxurious materials. Their craftsmanship was meticulous, often featuring hand-finished surfaces and forms inspired by nature, geology, and ancient symbolism.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The cast bronze bases display a rich, varied patina consistent with age. A new ½” thick custom glass top was fabricated to complete the piece.
