Beautiful vintage Chinese folding screen featuring dramatic raised carved dragons with real mother-of-pearl inlay set against a glossy black lacquer background. This decorative 4-panel room divider stands approximately 72 inches tall and showcases intricate hand-carved details with shimmering shell accents that change color in the light.

The front panels feature powerful dragons surrounded by swirling clouds, symbolizing prosperity, strength, and good fortune in traditional Chinese art. The carving is done in high relief, meaning the dragons and clouds are raised off the panel surface, giving the screen a striking three-dimensional appearance. The dragons are accented with natural iridescent mother-of-pearl shell, which reflects shades of green, pink, and blue depending on the light.
