Eagle Bay Heirlooms is pleased to offer this great Estate Find..... a very rare, hard to find, replacement piece dating from 1893 through early 1900's, This Theodore Haviland of Limoges France, very fine porcelain piece is a round covered vegetable/casserole bowl with two handles and lid. It is adorned with a slightly scalloped gilded pedestal base. Such an exquisite squatty shape. This pattern is the Schleiger 144F, possibly Blank 133. Such a fine pattern which boasts double gold around the rims, delicate pale pink roses and florals, accentuated with pale green foliage and scrolls. Around the finial on the lid are gold berry dots and outlines leaves, as well as the handles on the sides.

Such a fine table piece was imported by the very prestigious John Wanamakers, the green W in the wreath backstamp with green ribbon banner with Philadelphia, Paris, New York in it.

The interior is also decorated with florals and scrolls.

Size: 10.25" from Handle to Handle, 5.5" High, 8.85" Diameter

Condition: Overall excellent antique condition, displaying minor gold wear mainly to the tips of the rims. Almost evaded my hawk eye, there is a tinsy chip underside lid rim edge.

A very rare find of a discontinued replacement china piece.
