A bold and highly sculptural Bohemian art glass centerpiece bowl produced by Egermann in Nový Bor, one of the historic centers of Czech glassmaking. The dramatic form, often referred to as the “Bull” bowl, evokes the sweeping horns and powerful presence of the animal through its dynamic, wing-like edges.

Executed in deep cobalt blue glass enriched with iridescent metallic speckling, the surface shimmers with changing reflections of light, creating a sense of depth and movement. The optical structure of the base amplifies the luminous qualities of the glass, transforming the object into a striking interplay of color, transparency, and reflection.

More than a functional bowl, the piece reads as a sculptural glass object, embodying the expressive character of late 20th-century Czech studio glass and the long artistic tradition of Egermann glassworks.
