The iconic eclisse table lamp, designed in 1965 by vico magistretti for artemide, exemplifies italian space age design of the 1960s, combining clean geometry with functional light control. This particular example is finished in dark blue lacquered metal. The spherical lamp head sits atop a hemispherical base and houses a rotating internal reflector, allowing for stepless adjustment of the light output. Its compact form and vibrant color give the lamp a timeless yet playful appeal. The original manufacturer's mark, artemide milano – modello eclisse – design vico magistretti – made in italy, is located on the underside.
condition: good vintage condition with age-related wear. Light scratches and minimal wear to the lacquered surface. Function tested and fully operational.
