Exceptional ceiling or wall light – plafonière by holophane, france.
star-shaped, grooved glass shade.
chrome frame to which the glass is attached with clips.
a very interesting mounting system: the lower disc is mounted to the ceiling, the glass shade is suspended from the disc, and secured on the other side with the original screws. The wiring, including grounding, was professionally installed.
the light emits a pleasant, diffused (glare-free) light.
