A Napoleon III period mahogany display cabinet, circa 1850.
Curved on all sides, it opens at the front with two glazed doors featuring molded medallions and is surmounted by a drawer in the frieze.
The shaped wooden top is topped with a magnificent carved wooden gallery decorated with floral and rocaille motifs.
The interior is fitted with two mahogany shelves.
The height given is that of the cabinet without the removable carved wooden ornament on the top. This ornament will be disassembled and stored inside the cabinet for transport to prevent breakage, as it is fragile. It can be reassembled with two small screws (included). The actual overall height is 1.12 meters.
