Offered is a lovely individual casserole pot with lid by Otagiri Manufacturing Company in Japan made during the 1970s. This is heavy stoneware, the base glaze is a soft gray beige, and the design is a subtle indigo blue and coffee brown waves and flowers. There are 2 original stickers on this piece and it appears to be unused. Of note, the knob on the lid appears to be a support for the bowl, and can be used as a trivet to support the bowl when serving. The lid also has a small hole to release steam while cooking - the sticker on lid states "oven safe".
