The layered reedwork radiates outward from the center in tightly wrapped concentric rings, giving the surface remarkable depth, texture, and movement.

The table is constructed from hand-applied bamboo and rattan with visible brass tack detailing throughout, showcasing the craftsmanship and labor-intensive construction typical of higher-end coastal and Mediterranean-inspired furniture of the 1970s. Tonal variation across the natural materials shifts from warm honey and caramel tones to deeper tobacco undertones, emphasizing the dimensional quality of the woven surface.
