Kittinger Furniture Chinese Chippendale-style mahogany Side chest on high legs, dating from the mid 20th century.
Key Features
Style: It features Chinese Chippendale design elements, most notably the intricate pierce-carved "blind fretwork" on the apron and the corner brackets.
Materials: It is crafted from mahogany and mahogany veneers, with burl / flame wood accents on the drawer fronts.
The dovetail built drawers are adorned with traditional brass batwing-style bail handles. The piece stands on straight, fluted, or clustered legs, which is characteristic of this period's revival furniture.
The chest measures 18.5" in width", 14.25" in depth and 29.25" in height. Drawers are 15" in width and 11" in depth.
