This piece is made of solid wood construction, primarily mahogany. It has been ebonized and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. There are two dovetailed drawers, each with working locks and keys. The escutcheons are cast brass with stylized laurel wreath designs. The legs are fluted and support a lower shelf for functionality. The legs are capped with brass feet. The console table is topped with a black marble slab. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition. See less
