Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, one caster has been repaired & the top & apron have been repaired & refinished but still retain the antique patina. This is an exquisite antique oval shaped dining table composed of a marvelous mahogany frame featuring four FABULOUS turned legs with lovely hand carved “button” style details surrounding the beautiful bulbous elements on the legs, brass rings above the oh-so-convenient casters, a fabulous oval top exuding gorgeous wood grain, and a handsome burled apron with a keyhole detail hosting a telescopic winding crank mechanism to open & extend the table to add leaves, but unfortunately, we do not have the leaves. BUT, you could easily have leaves made. It is William IV in style with hints of William & Mary, Jacobean, & Victorian styles sure to make a BOLD statement in your kitchen or dining room! Many styles of dining chairs would look wonderful surrounding this beauty… My mother, an accomplished retired interior designer told me that she can just see a fantastic set of Contemporary, Mid-Century Modern, or Modern dining chairs juxtaposition to this incredible antique table.
