Elinor McGuire designed this model M-71 occasional chair for McGuire of San Fransisco, the company she started with her husband John. McGuire furniture is made to last for generations. The rattan frame is built with a proprietary process that includes wrapping the joints in rawhide, giving it a strength that belies its light weight.
