A beautiful set of two tray plates with roses and turquoise blue Nippon design, circa early 20th century, Japan. Handle detailing is edged in gold. Piece can be used as cake plates, or serving appetizers. Piece can also be used as vanity tray to hold perfume bottles or jewelry. Golden rim adorns the trays and border region is painted turquoise blue. Victorian roses form a charming floral decorative garland motif. Stamped on reverse "Handpainted Nippon".
