Rich cobalt-blue crystalline formations give this signed studio pottery vase an exceptionally expressive surface, with intricate featherlike patterns spreading across a softly contrasting blue-gray ground.
The graceful form features a flared trumpet mouth, slender neck, rounded shoulders, and gently tapered body. Particularly striking crystalline formations radiate around the neck, creating beautiful variations in color, pattern, and reflected light. The glossy glaze extends into the interior of the opening.
At approximately 8 inches tall, the vase offers sculptural presence in a relatively compact form. Its deep blue palette and distinctive silhouette make it a compelling accent for a mantel, console, bookcase, or carefully arranged collection of decorative ceramics.
The light-colored unglazed underside bears an incised monogram above the number 1846. The maker has not been identified, and the significance of the number remains undetermined.
**Dimensions:** Approximately 8" H × 3.5" W × 3.5" D.
