18th century mahogany Queen Anne arm chair from England.
The top rail on the back has a central scroll, continuing in graceful and elegant curves and a vase shaped back splat, also with scroll details. The arms, which measure 27.63 inches in height, are gracefully shaped as well as the arm supports. The seat has been newly upholstered in a neutral damask like pattern.
The chair is supported on splayed legs in the back and cabriole legs in the front with hand carved scrolls at the knees for added design interest. The front legs terminate in ball and claw feet.
