The body is predominantly deep cobalt blue with layered abstract inclusions in silver-toned, cream, aqua, and warm orange hues, creating a fluid, atmospheric composition beneath the glossy surface.

The underside is signed “Joan Reep,” and the piece retains a “silver glass” label referencing the metallic reaction techniques used in its decoration. Internal layering and luminous movement give the vase a distinctly sculptural studio glass presence.
