This is a pair of decorative lanterns designed in the form of traditional pagoda pavilions. Each lantern features a tiered roof with upturned corners, pierced metal gallery, and hexagonal glass-paneled body set on a stepped base. The sculptural roofs are topped with finials and hanging loops, reinforcing the architectural Asian-inspired design. These are finished in a warm bronzed and blackened patina with intentional distressing, the lanterns have a timeworn character that enhances their decorative appeal. A hinged glass door allows access to the interior candle platform. These lanterns work well as statement pieces on a console, entry table, or covered outdoor space, and complement traditional, garden, or Chinoiserie-inspired interiors. These are in great vintage condition.
