The piece is made using the traditional sommerso technique, a characteristic Murano glassmaking process in which different layers of colored glass are superimposed to create depth and complex optical effects. In this example, the intense ruby ​​red of the upper section visually blends with an amethyst-purple base, generating a rich chromatic contrast.
