These antique tables from France have a robust, serpentine-shape, with original marble tops above the wood frames that are elaborately carved in a rocaille aesthetic motif throughout their shapely bodies. The backside is flat and meant to attach to a wall; the front is supported by two legs. The c-scrolled legs are braced with a cross-stretcher bar, which is adorned with a center with exaggerated shell and foliate scrollwork. These late 18th century Rococo style French serpentine tables, with their original marble tops and shapely presence, will make an attractive pair of wall consoles, perhaps flanking an entry foyer or living room.
