19th century creamware lidded bullion cup from England.
The top is decorated with a lovely finial which has been gilded for added dimension, along with a banding around the edge of the top.
The cup itself has two lovely entwined handles, with leaf decoration attaching the handles to the cup. The cup has hand painted decoration of an eagle, holding wheat in one talon and an olive branch in the other. T
his is a lovely piece which was most likely made for the American market after gaining our Independence from Great Britain.
