Blue & White Bulb Planter – Mottahedeh Portugal for Met Museum, 6 5/8″ Dia.
Elegant blue-and-white ceramic bulb planter bowl made by Mottahedeh in Portugal for The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Ideal for crocus or hyacinth forcing, it measures 6.75″ in diameter and 3″ tall, with a lightly footed base. The top has five 1.25″ openings for bulbs plus numerous small air holes. Marked on the underside with the Metropolitan Museum of Art / Mottahedeh stamp. Excellent condition with only 1 tiny chip on the edge (see photos) —ready to bring classic chinoiserie charm to your windowsill or centerpiece.
