Large scale vintage 1970s painting of house plants. The oil painting is beautifully detailed with rich tones of green enlivening the plant foliage. The baskets themselves are meticulously rendered with special detail to the strands of weaving. Light is masterfully portrayed as the sky shines through the lattice work, casting highlights on each cell. As your eye moves around the painting, your appreciation increases as you realize how each and every aspect of this painting was well considered. The painting is signed, "R. DeLongprie."
