The vase is decorated in the “Chloris” pattern, featuring a cheerful band of stylized spring flowers including tulips and daffodils rendered in vibrant colors.

The piece is beautifully finished with a warm cream ground, a vivid yellow flared rim, green banding, and a rich orange lower body, creating the bold color palette characteristic of Clarice Cliff–era decorative wares. The glossy Honeyglaze finish enhances the lively hand-painted floral decoration.

Produced in England in the early–mid 20th century, Honeyglaze wares were part of the decorative ceramics emerging from the Wilkinson factory where Clarice Cliff developed many of her influential designs.
