The iconic chairs have smooth ball finials on the back top rail. The frames feature an airy vertical slat back with turned corner supports, decorated in the neoclassical taste. The arms have a long, sweeping design echoing the gentle curve of the back rail. The chairs rest on straight slim tapered legs conjoined with X-stretchers. The set is finished with later added loose seat cushions in a light off-white fabric. The bottoms of the seats have an open goemetric lattice design. The chairs blend Neoclassical, Coastal, and California Regency styles, suitable for a variety of settings. Each chairs retain the original Michael Taylor Designs maker's plaques under the seats. the frames are sturdy and solid having excellent joinery and craftsmanship in exceptional condition. The powder coating has an optional intentionally aged patina in a rich nickel or pewter style finish as seen in photos. Sold as a set of four. From an estate in Beverly hills, CA.
