We are selling this extremely finely modeled Cast Iron Parrot figure. This parrot has extremely detailed feather detail and sophisticated form, probably by a highly regarded company like Fiske. The bird has a dark green painted surface and may have been an architectural element off a building. Probably late 19th or early 20th century.
Condition: Several large cracks or breaks to the cast iron on the neck and head area. Area of repair on the beak. Is still stable to hang from the head area.
