This elegant piece is a vintage Japanese Kutani Porcelain vase that has been converted into a table lamp. It features a Chinoiserie floral motif, specifically characterized by large hand-painted green chrysanthemums (mums) and foliage. The lamp is made of fine heavy porcelain accented with gold highlights on the floral design. The brass cap at the top often shows a "spattered" or textured gold finish, typical of mid-century conversions of Japanese vases into table lamps.
Dimensions: 27" to top of socket, 37" to top of final, 8" diameter base and body.

Condition: Excellent condition with minor wear typical for age and use. No cracks or chips on the porcelain. The carved wooden base has minor wear, see pics. Original wiring in good working condition.
