Materials: The parrot is crafted from solid white alabaster and the base is typically a veined marble or stone. Red glass eyes. No visible cracks or breaks. A small circle pattern is cut near the beak of the parrot. (See pictures.)This is a deliberate detail included by the artisan to make the sculpture more realistic. Unaltered piece. Could use a clean, but I didn't want to cause discoloration. Originally purchased in Italy. See less
