This turquoise and green decorative glass vase is a fine example of mid-century Maltese glass artistry, crafted in the 1970s by the noted studio Mdina Glass. Formed in a squat bottle shape, it features a generously rounded base tapering gracefully into a slender, flared neck, creating a sculptural and tactile presence. The vase showcases the vibrant “Ming” style, distinguished by luminous bands of turquoise and green swirling through the translucent body, delicately interspersed with subtle golden flecks. The “Ming” series has become highly sought after among collectors of Maltese glass for its vivid colours and captivating light play. Measuring 12 cm in height and 13 cm in diameter, this piece bears a signature on its underside and is offered in excellent vintage condition, without damage or chips. A beautifully executed work of Maltese art glass, ideal as a distinctive accent piece or addition to a collection focused on 20th-century decorative glass. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
