The composition features a solitary female figure set within a highly linear architectural landscape, rendered in Carzou’s distinctive expressive linework. The vivid orange background creates strong contrast with the intricate black lines and gives the piece excellent visual presence.

This lithograph is pencil signed by the artist in the lower margin and also bears a plate signature dated 1965 within the image. The print was produced in Paris by master lithographer Charles Sorlier, whose studio printed works for many leading 20th-century artists.

The sheet is printed on Arches wove paper (Arches watermark visible), a traditional fine art printmaking paper used for high-quality lithographic editions.

The lower margin is annotated “Essai (Sorlier) / 400,” indicating a printer’s proof associated with the edition.

Professionally framed with a wide mat and black frame, the work presents beautifully and is ready to hang.
