Two antique 19th c. Creil plates in canary yellow with black transfer decoration. Marked LL&T Montereau.
The first depicting a tropical battle scene. Titled - Mavrocordatos prenant un fort defend par des Turcs. Measures 9 1/4" in diameter.
The second titled - Les Turcs emmenant les femmes et les enfans Grecs. Measures 8 5/8" in diameter. Both images surrounded by lauren wreathes bearing the names of prominent figures from the conflict. Both in good condition - some staining/wear.
