Hand-crafted from … Read more A refined set of six late 19th century French Louis XVI style dining chairs sourced in Paris, France. Hand-crafted from solid beech with traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery and pegged construction, the frames retain a warm, naturally aged finish that highlights the character of the wood. The set has been fully restored; each chair was examined and reinforced in our workshop to ensure the frames are solid, stable, and ready for everyday use. The seats and backs have been newly upholstered in caramel Italian leather, finished with an olive green grosgrain band and hand-applied brass nailhead trim. The chairs are raised on fluted tapering legs with carved rosette blocks at the seat corners, ending in graceful toupie feet.
