This elegant antique table mirror was created in Murano, Italy circa 1960 and reflects the refined tradition of Venetian glass artistry. The free standing vanity mirror features a shaped and scalloped silhouette, richly adorned with handmade clear Bohemian-style glass flowers and delicate leaves applied around the perimeter. Soft blush accents and beaded edging create depth and luminosity, allowing the frame to beautifully catch and refract light.
The mirror plate is further embellished with hand painted and etched floral decoration, including scrolling foliate motifs and a central lattice design that enhances its romantic character. Light age spotting to the plate is consistent with its vintage charm and authentic antique appeal. The craftsmanship of the applied glass elements demonstrates careful hand assembly, with each flower individually formed and affixed to the frame.
The reverse retains its original wooden back with an easel support, allowing the piece to stand securely on a vanity, dressing table, or powder room console. The decorative mirror is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use and offers a refined touch of Italian glamour to any interior.
