The mighty barrel is richly decorated in relief with floral motifs and classical scrolls across its entire surface. The massive stepped carriage is equipped with four solid wheels and a complex system of metal chains and lateral retaining hooks, simulating the original recoil mechanisms of period artillery. Further enhancing the composition, two exquisite embossed heraldic shields (coats of arms) stand out on the sides of the wooden structure.

Material and Finish: The supporting structure and wheels are crafted from solid wood with a warm dark walnut finish. The barrel, chains, coats of arms, and hardware are made of heavy cast bronze, featuring a magnificent, thick dark patina that gives the object exceptional realism and an antique feel.
